Whitney Bondshu, LCSW

Thank you for visiting my practice! I’m Whitney Bondshu, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who holds a MSW from Portland State University and a Psychology degree from Southern Oregon University. I was raised in Southern Oregon, and I take pride in growing my family here in this beautiful piece of the world. As a therapist, I enjoy being a part of someone’s journey towards healing with the use of acceptance, identifying boundaries, increasing self-esteem, and learning positive coping skills to reduce suffering by discovering a stronger version of yourself.

I have dedicated many years to working with PTSD, trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, and many other challenges and stressors we face as humans in everyday life. I offer an eclectic, personalized approach to therapy as I believe each person deserves a treatment plan that honors the individual’s needs and wants.

I am trained in Neurofeedback, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also use modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Psychodynamic approach, Attachment Theory, Inner-child work, and Narrative Therapy.
